Iván Halász

Co-Founder & Senior Partner
Iván has over 25 years of experience in finance and venture capital/private equity (VC/PE). He began his career at BlackRock in New York. Upon returning to Hungary, he worked in the PE industry at the First Hungary Fund and Euroventures. In 2010, Iván co-founded Finext Startup Venture Capital Fund Management Ltd (now TrueWay).
Ferenc Lévay

Ferenc Lévay

Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Ferenc began his VC/PE career in 1995 as an investment analyst at Equinox Ventures Investment Advisors, later becoming managing director in 1998. He subsequently managed another investment firm, FastVentures, and served for 5 years as CFO of Bvfon, a leading inmate phone system operator in CEE and also led business and organizational development projects. In 2010, he co-founded Finext Startup Venture Capital Fund Management Ltd (now Trueway) and currently leads the firm as managing partner.
Dávid Horváth

Dávid Horváth

Junior Partner & Head of Business Development
Dávid joined TrueWay in 2022 after working for EY in Budapest and New York, primarily dealing with multinational clients and private investors in the Hungarian market. He has participated in numerous planning, M&A and restructuring projects and is experienced in business development. He has been actively managing privately run companies while providing financial, tax, and project management support to Trueway and its portfolio companies.
Katalin Luka

Katalin Luka

Head of Back Office
Katalin joined TrueWay in 2014 and is responsible for all back-office activities. She also coordinates compliance requirements for the portfolio companies.
